I am originally from Maryland where I received my B.A. in Communication from McDaniel College. After graduating in 2007, I moved to Greensboro, NC. I went back to school at UNC Greensboro to earn my B.S. in Elementary Education in 2010. I have been a teacher ever since! I have taught both 4th and 5th grade in all subject areas.
I enjoy the arts which to me means many different ways of expressing yourself. Whether that be dance, painting, crafting or music! I think that it is important to find the good in the world and what makes you happy. I live alone with my two cats (Oliver and Samoa) and love to spend time with my close friends and family.
I am an entertaining and lively teacher who challenges her students to be the best that he/she can be. I have high expectations for my students in all academic areas. I treat my students with a lot of respect and I expect the same in return. I am excited to work with you and your student!
